Founded by songwriter and worship leader Matthew Briggs, Greater Waters is a worship project crafting songs for quiet prayer, personal devotion, and the Church. The music draws from 15 years of local ministry across Orange County, California—including a decade serving men’s, college, and main services at Calvary Chapel, followed by five years at Mariners Church.

Centered around the acoustic guitar, Greater Waters pairs deep pastoral songcraft with atmospheric production. Prioritizing songwriting over touring, the project exists to draw hearts back to the Gospel.
